The Greater Accra Region with a population of about 4 million, is the most urbanized part of Ghana and is made up of two principal cities; Accra and Tema, which are linked by a highway and a railway. Accra is the capital city of Ghana and serves as the dministrative center of the country, while Tema is the industrial hub with several factories, a free zone and home to one of
the two sea ports in Ghana. The key industries of Ghana are agriculture where almost 25% of the GDP is generated, followed by financial services and construction in both rural and urban
areas. The next two major sectors which contribute to the GDP are crude oil and energy sectors.
